The Great Unveiling

Tissue transfer

Jugs... black glaze not so successful here

Brooch with tissue transfer...I like this concept, it's simple and interesting

Tissue transfer pieces...I think I'm on to something here, I like what I see

Cute tea-cup, executed nicely if I do say so myself

Quirky salt and pepper shakers, one of my favourite sets :)

Brooches perhaps

Fleur inspired tea-pots... blue stain didn't go according to plan, alas, lesson learn't and many more to learn indeed!

Sugar pot and pourer - quite chuffed with this set

Pieces ready for bisque

The much awaited opening of the kiln door reveals all!

The day has finally come! I cracked the kiln door this morning to reveal all! All pieces made it through the glaze firing in one piece (pheeew!!!), not all have been successfully executed in the glaze process, alas, 'tis a lesson learn't... then there are some little beauties that are lovely to hold and are aesthetically pleasing to the eye. All in all a big learning curve as well as some interesting concepts and ideas that are something to think about for future works... I think I've stumbled accross something of substance here with the tissue transfers, we shall see where it takes me!
Happy Australia Day, working hard, listening to Triple J's hottest 100, enjoy!
